We are going out at night with a survivor and police involvement offering outreach kits to women on the streets. The outreach kits are comprised of: mouth wash, band-aids, alcohol swabs, prepackaged food, juice, hygiene products, and more. This is a way to build rapport with the women and offer them a 24/7 help line in case they need anything. Please contact Trish if you are interested in donating any items. The training will be from 6pm to 8pm at The Salvation Army.The training will equip interested volunteers to conduct street outreach on a weekly basis. The training will include: safety protocol, general procedure, how to identify someone, techniques for engagement and some basic information on the population.
